You can buy them unlocked on Amazon. I don't know about unlocking them yourself though. Maybe google it. 

My brother is gonna check on it, he makes it sound fairly simple.

It's.....actually against the law to unlock a cellphone locked to a network unless that phone is older than 2010. Just sayin.





On January 26, a ruling by the Librarian of Congress made unlocking a cell phone for use on other carriers illegal under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act of 1998.
