i have had blood in my Pee for two days no with major pain during and after pee..i have back pain like its cool..went to CGH last night said there was nothing they could see that was wrong..no major stones they can see infact they told me this morning there were no stones at all..my question is should i go back to CGH and see if they can refigure this out or do i try the one in new bern see if a fresh pair of eyes might be the answer..again prolly TMI but whatever lol 

If there is blood in the urine AND back pain, there IS something wrong.

I wouldn't go back to an ER that couldn't find an issue the first go round.

Was it 2 days before you went to the ER or is this day 2 of blood?

Every time I've had blood in my urine it's been a bladder UTI. If I have a fever it's always been an infection that spread to my kidneys. Did they give you anything? Antibiotics or at least something for the pain? 

go to a dif ER, the same ER might do less tests and write you off as a hypochondriac... or maybe the opposite.

Assuming they did a routinne urinalysis did they find erythrocytes or leukocytes in your urine? 

idk no one said anything to me except to coem in and give me pain meds..then the doc came in said your ct and ultra sound were neg ..you have a few cysts they could be the cause and i was like seriously cycst dont cause you to piss blood..idk..if it doesnt let up ill go to new bern Hospital.. 

hmm, cysts are kind of a different system unless the cysts were on your kidneys, in which case I would think they would need to do more tests for sure on that. 

Did you give them a urine sample?

That should have been at the top of the list... 

I would make an appointment with your pcm first thing Monday morning if you can't get help from an ER and they can put in a stat referral for you to see a specialist for further testing and can blood work and such while waiting for the referral. Stat referrals can take a couple days so they will probably give you some pain killers but if the ER is only giving that to you anyways then better to get the ball in the righ direction of seeing a specialist. . I think mine took 48 hours to be approved.
