EXTREME HOT WEATHER = HIGH ENERGY USE 

Holy crap! I thought mine was high at $160... that's twice what we paid when we were in Havelock. 

THANK YOU JACKY for making me fell better about our $340.00 bill. Ours had only been running right at $200. Then the heat got here and it's climbed each month. $260. in June, $280 last month, $326 this month, and $340 for Sept. 

Mine was $274.50.

I turned the thermostat up to 78. I previously set it on 74, but the a/c unit was constantly running and the house would only get to 78, so I said to myself, "self, what's the point" and jacked that mother up! 

OMG!!!!!!! I would faint. 

OUCH. Mine was $300 last month and I thought THAT was bad :/ 

didn't you say before you always run a 300+ electric bill?
