How many of you guys have been stationed overseas? Did you like it? Where were you? What was you/your husband's job? 

We have not :( because my son is EFMP and they refused us. I do have a friend in japan, who is a Journalist and she absolutely lives it. Okinawa, not Japan, actually 

I have heard great things about Oki. Everybody that I know who has been there has LOVED it. I wish we would get stationed overseas. That seems like a blast to me. 

Living overseas is awesome. I have lived in Japan twice. Once in Okinawa and once on the mainland. Just like every duty station its all in how you approach it. If you never leave base and expect it be horrible then it will be. But if you give it a chance it's great. Just be flexible and willing to see and experience a new culture. 

I wish we could have gone :(

Then again, I couldn't survive the dang flight lol
