Today a 5th grader punched a KINDERGARTENER in the face on the bus. Why the heck this STUPID school thinks it is okay to seat big kids with the little kids is beyond me. They should be seated by age/grade. 

No...they should be able to sit where they want. Kids need to learn that riding the bus is a privilage not a right. That 5th grader should be banned from the bus the rest of the year.

I'll ride bud, all day long, if it were legal. LMAO 

I really don't think they should be on the same bus either. The bus driver can't pay attention to every little thing going on. They need to drive. 

They have assigned seating. They put a trouble maker in a seat with a younger child to reduce problems but it Really makes it worse. The younger kids end up getting hit and called names by the older kids. 

:( I'm dreading this. I'm seriously considering just driving Luke to school. 

My kids are driven to school but bussed home. I am so upset about what happened today. I am going to talk to the school about it on Monday. It wasn't my kid but I don't want my kids riding with a child like that. 

Been there and done that already. It's crazy that they really think a "problem" child that is in the 5th grade is going to get along just fine with a little 5 or 6 year old kid. That's why I take my kids to school now.

In high school I once chugged a freggin hard grapefruit at some punk guy on the bus for f'in with some chick who wouldn't fight back after he permanent markered her face while he was leaving the bus the day before. She just sat there. The guy tried to rush me afterward, but two other dudes finally stuck up for me and her. He then stopped messing with her and I after he found out who I was friends with. Douche bag!

The problem is with the bus drivers. They just sit there and ignore everthing. And never report anything. They are part of the problem. I wouldn't have to do that if the bus driver did something about it. 

That problem is not just on the bus. My 1st grader got punched in the mouth by a 2nd grader the second day they had school.

Speaking of permanent marker, tuesday or wednesday a girl drew on some kids faces as well.

Man, I could tell you some horror stories about this school.

For instance... the 5th grader that punched the kindergartner, was a bully last year in 4th grade. He had a habit of pinning other kids against their friends by telling them that if they didn't stop being friends with said kid, he was going to kick their butts.

Same kid, got a group of 4 kids to surround my son on the walking track and then they took turns shoving him to the ground, IN FRONT of their teacher. Another little girl went and got a DIFFERENT teacher to break it up because their teacher was just standing there. Then, their teacher sent my son to the office with in school suspension for 2 days for his protection. The group of boys? They went unpunished. I had to go up there the next day, lucky for the vice principal, with my husband because when she told me the reason MY kid was in ISS was because he wasn't safe in the class with the bully, I went crazy on her and the teacher.

And after all that, you'd think they'd taking bullying more seriously, right? Same kid on Friday, was bullying another boy by standing above him and shoving him off the seat in the cafeteria. When my son went to the teacher as it was happening to report the bullying incident, he was made to stand outside the classroom later for "not minding his own business".

That is awful Jacky. I'm scared for Luke. He is very sweet and soft spoken. I'm afraid he will get trampled.

so does my son jacky as parents if enough of us from that bus ask we should be able to have a meeting with her and ask her why she thinks a kindergartner is Safe next to a 5th grade bully.. i for sure dont want my kid next to a bully back in my days of school if you were a bully you were kicked off the bus for a semester.. 

I questioned it last year but just ended up removing my kids from the bus last year. I'll probably do the same thing this year...

Last year my then kindergartner was sitting next to a 4th grader who would mess with her, and in front of a 3rd grader who would hit her on the head and curse at her. 

So today... Mandi was spit on and hit by another kids multiple times. After repeatedly spitting on her, he was finally moved to another seat where he proceeded to call a kid the N word over and over. 

Thats crap right there demand to have a meeting with this bus driver..i have never had a problem but then again my son has a hard time expressing whats wrong..i wonder if anyone is mean to him on the bus..

just got off phone with Mrs.Brown and the bus driver...of course the bus driver denies knowing anything about it and said she will do her best to keep a better eye on things on the bus.. 

eh... if I didn't work 1 afternoon a week, my kids wouldn't even be on this bus. But I have no way for them to get home on Thursdays. I'll probably change it to them riding only on Thursdays.
