Lordy, I wish. I've tried to many times.

I've come to the conclusion that there are good writers, and there are good storytellers. The latter get published WAY more often, and I am only the former. I'm not a good storyteller. 

Also, Lela. Now would be the perfect time to pimp your new venture. =D 

I've had a loooooot of time to perfect it! And I kind of had no choice - I made the mistake of being open and honest with the wrong people, and some of the judgments were so harsh that my choices were either to lie to keep the peace, let people treat me simply however the wished, or start explaining myself.

The post titled "Letter To My Unborn Child" was written when I was something like 19. I look back at it now, and I can't even IMAGINE thinking those things - it seems impossible to me that I once fantasized about being a mother in a positive way. But I did, and the more I grow and the more I learn about myself, the easier it is for me to express just about any decision I make!

On another note, this website in particular has given me the strongest response to things I've written there.

For every single one of you who has read it and found a reason to talk to me about it later, thank you. The only reason a writer like me writes is to hope another person is affected by it. 

Um, Noel. Seriously. I don't see why a LINK can't be posted here. Not the story, but the link. By the by. Jan 4th. Wow. Inspiring. 

I guess I didn't think of it that way! With the Childfree rant I didn't want to make it seem like I was just coming here to start sh*t, and with Jan. 4th, it's .. technically pornographic, and very intimate, so to post THAT one and have it be the first one I heard crickets chirp over would've been humiliating as heck! :P

I WISH. I'm incapable. I've been trying to write a novel since I was 13. I've come to terms with the fact that it's not something I'm able to do, and have settled for being creative for the amusement of friends, and reporting on events around my city for money.

I used to do the same thing to go to sleep. I stopped after marrying M.

I just recently started doing it again when I realized that - that might be part of my problem.

Glad that you've finally found a way that works for you. Wish I had said something sooner and I would have, had I realized that it was also my problem.
