Trying to find something interesting to start reading.... 

I'm reading Stephen Hawking's "The Grand Design" right now, but it's a geeky science book if you're into that sort of stuff. 

I read historical romances so if you're into that, I just finished Pirate Prince by Gaelen Foley. It's a three part series about Ascension and the royal throne.

Pretty good read.

Aside from that, you can't go wrong with anything written by Teresa Medeiros or Julie Garwood. Teresa Medeiros has a 2 book vampire series that's so unlike Twilight, it's not funny. It was actually out before Twilight happened.

It's called After Midnight and the second one is called The Vampire who loved me.

It's not a sparkly vampire book or anything like that. It's good. 

The Outlander Series by Diana Gabaldon is pretty good if you like Historic Sci Fi Romances 

I love Diana Gabaldon, too! I haven't read too much of her though.

I also love Marsha Canham. Her "blood of the roses" book was so good. 

Catcher in the Rye by JD Salinger is AWSOME! and a CLASSIC! 

I have Dragonfly and Amber by Diana Gabaldon but I haven't read it yet. 

I am about to read water for elephants

I read Harry Turtledove....I'm in the thick of one ofhis books now, I have two or three more STILL to read.... 

I am reading the princess seies by Jim c Hines. He puts a different spin on the fairy tale princesses and make them out to be more like warriors and assasins vs. dainty princesses. It is a really good series.

The first one is "The Stepsister's Scheme". The Second is "The Mermaid's Madness" and the third is Red Hoods Revenge."
They put kind of a dark spin on the fairy tales.
