For Immediate Release: Havelock Police Seek Pair Involved in Shooting Incident



Havelock police are seeking information regarding the whereabouts of two individuals who are alleged to have been involved in a drive by shooting which occurred Monday, January 16, 2012 at approximately 9:20 P.M. at the Papa John’s Pizza, 131 W. Main Street in Havelock. There were no injuries reported, however, damage to the business was sustained.

Felony warrants charging ANDREW SCOTT DUNHAM, w/m, 21 years of age, last known address of 165 Dowling Drive (Hill’s Mobile Home Park) Havelock, NC, with shooting into an occupied building were issued today after investigators briefed the Craven County District Attorney of the incident. The investigative information suggests that the incident was domestic related. DUNHAM has been entered into NCIC. Havelock police have recovered the weapon alleged to have been used in the incident.

DUNHAM is believed to have fled the area and is further believed to be in the company of a female companion, ASHLEY NICHOLE BOULANGER, w/f, 21 years of age, of 1501 NC 101, Hill’s Mobile Home Park, Havelock, NC. Currently there are no warrants outstanding for BOULANGER, however, she is considered a person of interest and a material witness by Havelock police. Charges are pending.

DUNHAM and BOULANGER are believed to be traveling toward South Carolina and are operating a white 1999 Honda 4 door bearing North Carolina tag AHH 5867.

I thought the girl's name sounded familiar, so I did a little digging. She goes to my church and has a two year old daughter. I hope and pray the baby is safe!
