What are you favoriate things to see and do in the area? 

Lol nothing. This place blows. I usually pull up a chair outside of base housing pop popcorn and watch drama.

The beach is One thing. The aquarium. Movies. 

Anyone recommend a specfic beach/area.

What about things to do, NOT so close to base? 

Radio island... A right after the morehead bridge. Quiet most the time, animal life and little waves.
This place still blows. I always reccomend the blue ridge mtns as a trip. Not as many imbeciles!

Drive down to the boat ramp down in Morehead City and watch people try to launch their boats, that's entertainment!!
