Has anybody ever used Hour Little Hangout for a date night? I just saw it on their website and was curious to see if anybody has tried it/liked it. 

I highly recommend using sitter city or care.com for a date night sitter. I used sitter city, got a free military membership and did extensive researching and interviewing and have a girl I love. 

I have never used HLH for date night but I did use it during the daytime (this was back in like 2010) and had great experience with them. First place that I ever left my kids at in NC and they both loved it. I am sure it is under new ownership though now but worth checking out. 

I've taken both of my kids there during the day. But not for date night. They both loved the daytime care. It came highly recommended from several friends. 

We used playdate when we were in the area, not sure how the prices compare between the two. Always had a great experience, the ladies always told me what they seemed to really enjoy that night, and how much pizza (we always sent them for my hubs and I to grab dinner, so they ate there for $2 or $3 extra) Everything was very spot on from their perspective to my oldests of the time spent there, and she used to always ask to for my hubs and I to go on a date so she could go back. Never actually had any negative experiences.
