My parents pulled up there tonight, my mom went to go find the office and my dad pulled up to the trailer they had reserved. My mom was on the phone with the corporate office of uhaul who directed them there and was telling them she couldn't find the door to the office.

All of a sudden a shrew came racing out of nowhere and threatened to call the cops on my parents for trying to steal a uhaul.

My mother tried to explain to the woman that she was looking for the office door and was on the phone with the corporate office and the woman told my dad that she didn't want to do business with them and that if they didn't leave she was calling the cops.

I hope they lose their franchise.

And they sell stuff from their storage units on Cherry Point Yard Sales so be careful. 

They sell stuff from units after people don't pay their bill. They have to right to do that if you are behind 90 days on your bill.


I guess I was fortunate that my experiences with them were much more pleasant. 

I agree Jacky.. we had a good experience renting our uhaul from there when we moved from CP to Lejeune. 

I hope they lose their franchise.

Nice. You just went through furlough days and you wish someone to lose their livelihood.

You didn't reserve the trailer directly with them. Your parents probably showed up after normal business hours. Your father goes directly to a trailer BEFORE doing any paperwork. A woman is probably there by herself and someone unexpectedly shows up on the premises. 

We used them for our last move and didn't have any problems at all. They were very nice to talk to and very informative about certain resources available in the area.
