Moderators really shouldn't be abusing their powers and deleting their own topics "just because".

Locking it? Sure.
Deleting it? No bueno.

I wonder why you can't see who did what over here. On LU, you can see which mod did things.

I think it is a good thing. There is never a question who did stuff. I always say it was me if there was a question anyway.

We used to have LU mods that deleted whatever they felt like for no reason at all. It woud have been nice to know who did it. It's kind of an abuse of "power"

Two threads were deleted yesterday.

1) The original baker's square thread.

2) The new baker's square thread that was started yesterday. 

Oh dang, I didn't read either of those. Why were they deleted?

Apparently I stated exactly why Baker's Square closed down and the originator of the threads didn't like it.

There was no valid reason for the threads to be deleted.

Nope, only person acting like a child is the person who started the threads, didn't like the fact they were wrong and then deleted the threads.

No rules were broken. The OP of both threads was a mod and overstepped their bounds by deleting the threads just because they were misinformed.

Just because a mod can, doesn't mean they should, especially when there was no reason to delete in the first place.

I just fail to see what the big deal is, threads get deleted all the time. THat thread wasn't a big deal at all, either which way so why would anyone give two craps if it was deleted?

I give a crap when threads get deleted for NO OTHER REASON than because a Mod feels like erasing their words -regular users don't have the same luxury, once a certain amount of time has passed. (unless a Mod wants to delete a post after being contacted.)

This issue has been addressed before. Thought it was resolved, but apparently not.

It's just not worth the effort. It's not even an important topic. 

Besides, this forum is dead the majority of the time anyway, why even bother getting all huffy over the mods? It's pointless. 

Adam, Kara, whoever, they won't change anything no matter how much you or anyone else complain. Hell, we could all complain and they wouldn't do a damn thing.
