Had a headache so bad that it messed with your eyesight and made you want to run screaming into the streets?

yes. i got them all the time. atypical migraines, the docs called them. i got the opposite of tunnel vision. they stopped when i chopped my hair off. 

I get migraines like that often...if you get them alot try asking your DR about floricet it works amazing 

they had given me midrin, it worked well. 

this one is making my vision blurry and feels like it's pushing my eyes out of my head using a rod being stabbed into the base of my skull in the back..... 

and of course chills and the urge to keep my hand on my forehead.... sigh... 

mine were weird, my eyes hurt but head really didnt. but i'd feel dizzy and nauseous and noises made my ears ring. 

Vicky. I'll diagnose you. You have a migraine associated with intracranial hypertension. I got one just once in my life. If they become a nuisance get a doctor to give you a spinal tap. Is effects women who are mid to older age, have had children and are overweight. 

Best way to get rid of one of those is to put an ice pack on your shoulders and around your neck. Get a massager and use that on the base of your skull. Maxalt works well for these bc you can take one right before you feel it coming on and it goes away before you get it and it's not a pill you have to take daily.
