Hubby went to Walmart for Event #2 and scored a 32" flat screen TV for $148, plus 10% associate discount! This TV will go into the sunroom.

I also have a 46" flat screen coming on Wednesday from BestBuy. I paid $349 for that one, but it was SO worth not going to BestBuy and fighting the crowds!
This one will be mounted on the wall in the den.

Boys haven't given me a wish list yet, so no other shopping has been done.

:-/

Kaci --- 12 years ago -

Bought a dyson vac, saved $120 on it!
This was my first time ever going out shopping for Black Friday, even though I was home by 11:30, and I went to both target and Walmart :)
There were SO many good TV deals

Ja Ja Jacky (Mod) --- 12 years ago -

I went to goodys and won a $100 gift card.

Got a led tv/DVD combo for the girls and one for the boy.

Got Joseph that damn pogo stick he's bern bugging me about. Kmart had it on sale for thanksgiving day.

Allen --- 12 years ago -

Sat in one spot at WalMart 3.5 hours, got the Vizio Smart tv 60" for $688. My son got lots of blurays and games, an LG bluray player for $38. My daughter bought the $348 computer, a $19 printer, $6 pajama pants, 24 inch tv for $78. We really got all we wanted, then pigged out at WaffleHouse

WooTang (Mod) --- 12 years ago -

I went to Walmart for blu rays and video games. Holy crap the game section was INSANE. I decided it wasnt worth the fight to try for them. The display was ripped apart and games all over the floor. Luckily I was walking and found the one xbox game I really wanted laying in a random spot. Score and they price matched Best buy! I got a ton of blu rays, a few random toys for my daughter, and a new crock pot. Overall, I got most of what I wanted.

Vicky (Mod) --- 12 years ago -

I didn't buy hardly anything that was black friday priced.

Went to Target and got a couple dollar items for stockings.

Went to Belk for a gift card. Jenn got one worth 100.00, the rest of us got 5.00 ones.

Got the two oldest earrings from piercing pagoda with certificates to get their ears done later.

Went to Walmart and got three movies for 2 bucks each that the new "son-in-law" wanted and I asked him if I could pay for them and put them under the tree for him since while we were at Belk's, he went and bought the boots we were going to buy him. LOL

Jenn and he just left to go hit up JC Penney.

Me, I am going back to bed. LOL

I finished the boys shopping in October, but Everley kind of got the shaft. I got her a Baby Alive and Cookie dog for $15 each and I got Connor a blue Furby. I got Luke the red one for Christmas and didn't think Connor would be intersted, until he saw a commercial for one the other day and got really excited.

I got my husbands stuff off BassPro last month and took care of my parents already. Now all I have left is MIL and all of my neices and nephews. :/ There's a LOT of them.

Ja Ja Jacky (Mod) --- 12 years ago -

I went back out this morning and got a few gifts for each of the kids and all my shopping done for the dog. Plus, we added 5 new fish to our tank... Sally, Sue, Simon, Thing One and Thing Two.

Additionally, Amazon put my big gift for Joey on sale today so I was able to get that at a nice discount. And when I got home, all my new Pyrex was waiting here.... 42 pieces of Pyrex for $20 :)

I brought home the most expensive present on Black Friday ever! A baby with a penis. Lol : ) ~

No deals for me.

Little Miss Knowitall --- 12 years ago -

Walmart in Havelock STILL has some of their doorbuster merchandise available.

The $248 Samsung TVs, the 60" was out on the floor earlier too, the Oster countertop convection ovens for $39, the kids PJs, lots of DVDs, trying to think what else I saw while walking through.

I kept hearing the ladies at the hospital saying how this years sales sucks compared to the previous years.

I think so too. There wasn't anything I was willing to fight the crowds for.

Even the online deals are lacking.

:-/

Congrats boom!

Yuppers. As the ads were coming out I was very disappointed.

Amazon's lightning deals were awesome tho. However it required me to be attached to my computer to scoop some of them up and with me working full time now I missed some good ones, but got some good ones too.

Vicky (Mod) --- 12 years ago -

Congrats Boom!!! My cousin gave birth on Friday too... They thought she was going to weigh 11 pounds 13 ounces (according to the sonogram) but she was only 8 pounds 8 ounces and 4 weeks early)

MusicNote (Mod) --- 12 years ago -

I went on Thanksgiving day and got a blender for $10, a 4 qt crock pot for $10, holiday dresses for girls 40% off, jeans for them 40% off, a three piece crock pot/warmer thing- it has three bowl thingy's....for $30. Also got the Monster High 5 pack at target for $42. Now that I got that, my daughter has decided she doesn't want it :(

MusicNote (Mod) --- 12 years ago -

OH!!!! I almost had to steal "Brave" out of someone's cart.....but I didn't. I found one in the go-back cart for $10 :)

Ja Ja Jacky (Mod) --- 12 years ago -

I got another bike today... :)

I have been very lucky with bikes this year. I traded an iPod Touch for a Mongoose for Joseph.

I got Mandi and Jewel both this bike for $39 each

I missed the bike thing :( It fell between my paydays and heck if we aren't living paycheck to paycheck lol! At least the bills are paid!

WooTang (Mod) --- 12 years ago -

Lucky duck. I was on the hunt for Brave, The Lorax, and Madagascar 3 but apparently they didnt wrap them and people got them before 8pm

The bike deal was a good one. Im still jealous Toast that your girls are tall enough for the 20in. I still love that one. Got the bike today =) cant wait to put it together!

MusicNote (Mod) --- 12 years ago -

I'm not kidding when I say I literally almost stole it out of her cart. She was going through a go back cart and very nonchalantly put about 10 movies in her cart. If I hadn't doin one, I shudder to think of what I would have done...

Ja Ja Jacky (Mod) --- 12 years ago -

Woo, I think A is going to LOVE that black one. I saw it in person.... Super cute!

Funnies --- 12 years ago -

We ordered Brave via Amazon. I'm pretty sure it will be still in stock if you order soon. I just checked and it is - but you never know from second to second!

BOOM BOOM BOOM --- 12 years ago -

Jacky I love the girls bike! Lol too bad they don't make adult ones like that cause I'd buy one for myself!

Champ --- 12 years ago -

They still have $39 bikes, or did a couple hours ago (not same as above, but I got Adah one) unless I feel like clothes shopping we are done

I got pretty new pots, pans, and bakeware, all in a speckled robins egg blue too

Little Miss Knowitall --- 12 years ago -

all in a speckled robins egg blue too

Paula Dean? I have a large roasting pan & love it, but they didn't have the blue pots & pans here, only green & red. :-/

My farberware set is over 20 yrs old and I'm thinking about replacing.

BOOM BOOM BOOM --- 12 years ago -

I got the Paula dean cookware set last year from hubbs on Xmas! In the 15 years of buying pots and pans those are the BEST! Well worth the price tag! I was going to look to see if she made baking sheets cause that is on my wish list.

Champ --- 12 years ago -

yes! I originally thought I wanted stainless steel, but as soon as I saw the color I couldn't resist. I got the pots/pans set, and then everything else I could find in the same color sold seperately by her.

Boom, she does. I didn't buy any of those I felt I was pushing my luck telling my husband I needed new 9x13, 9x9 pans, and a pie pan just because I wanted it to match, haha.

Champ --- 12 years ago -

I do wish she sold the smaller size pots seperately (like the 2 quart) itd be nice to have more than one.
