What do your kids say that embarrass you?!

When my daughter talks about horses it sounds like she is talking about whores. *smh*

"Mommy, will you buy me a whore?" does not go over so well in public!

My daughter also calls her privates her Peanut and when she wants to eat peanuts she asks me if she can have peanuts and then says "ya know, the food kind, not the private parts kind". I didn't teach her to call her privates peanut... it's what she chose and I haven't been able to get her to stop.

Maybe she thinks she has a penis and it's coming out as peanut?

RMof2 (Mod) --- 12 years ago -

Yes.. she did think she had a penis at first.. I had to correct her but she liked the word penis better than vagina and so she said she was going to call it her peanut. She is stubborn.

I wish my son could talk. I can't wait to hear his first intelligible words!!

RMof2 (Mod) --- 12 years ago -

Just wait.. he will never stop talking before you know it! My daughter doesn't even stop talking when she is sleeping.

When I was a kid if we got naked my dad would chant "youre naked! Youre naked!" to get us all embarrassed and get dressed really quick. Well I carried on the tradition with my girls and now my youngest thinks that her privates are called her naked. It's kind of funny but I guess it works.

I wish my sister would have made up a name for her poop. We were walking through Albertsons one day when she was like 4 and she screams from the other end of the aisle, "I think I have a big ole poop inside me". I grabbed my son and ran down there like OMG did you just say that?! LOL

Connor was like that. He didn't say much for a very long time. He now speaks with a Swedish accent and never stops talking :p

Oh yeah.. Madison is obsessed with the word poop.. Christmas eve she announced it at a family friends house in front of .. ohhh.. about 30 people. She didn't just say it.. She yelled it in a panic.

Must be the age 4 that likes to announce when they have to go poop. My son is much more shy about it.

When my youngest says shirt it sounds like he's saying "sh/t"

My kids watched a video with me about anatomy (while I was trying to explain to them about blood pressure because I was checking my blood pressure yesterday) and well I found a video online that was directed at teaching children about anatomy and my kids got all upset because in the video it says something about not smoking so you can have a healthy heart, healthy lungs and healthy brain.

My 4 year old told my dad today that he was going to die if he didn't quit smoking and my 7 year old told my dad if he didn't want to make him sad he needed to do healthy things for his heart by quitting smoking and eating healthy. My 4 year old chimed in "and drink lots of water".

Yup.. I am traumatizing my kids to cigarettes at a very young age.

A boy at preschool told my daughter that you can't see black people at night. She goes to a small preschool outside of the city and there aren't any minorities there, so she doesn't have much experience to draw from. I never felt the need to address races with her until she said, "I hope Jessica(my white coworker) doesn't have a black baby... I'd like to be able to see it and hold it." WTF child!?! What are you talking about? *mortified* I told her that all people were different blah blah blah hair color, eye color, skin color, etc...

Fast forward two months... She's talking to her brand spankin new Uncle who just happens to be from India. Looks at him and says "It's ok that you don't get sunburn like me Uncle B. My mommy says that some people are white, some are black, and some are brown. You sir, are brown!"
