Well I finally have something to look forward to when it comes to my medical concerns. My medical got approved and I am so thankful for that. Have an appointment tomorrow because I need some medications filled for my acid reflux and asthma and an appointment next week to see an asthma and allergy specialist to figure out what I am allergic to because I woke up having a severe allergic reaction last night. I am also calling an ob/gyn tomorrow to getting much needed annual exams done and the testing to see if I have PCOS.
Other happy news. Despite my Grandma going back into the hospital.. The kids and I got to spend time with her on Saturday and see my cousin who lives in Indiana and had a good time with my other cousin on Sunday. So pretty good weekend.
Dear Best Friend, Thanks for always being there for me even when you aren't! Love, Me
Dear Navy Fed, Thanks for approving me for the trial program. Now praying the payments are on time and I can continue with the full program once approved in September! Signed, Valued Customer for over 25 years.
My men are coming home. I've been chillin with my oldest and alone most days. Nice to get a break. Started my business plan and organized the crap out of our third bedroom. Back to my regularly scheduled program of getting spit up on, hair pulled, no sleep, and cooking every day. Wasn't long enough lol
I already gave up hot sauce, caffeine and alcohol. There isn't much else to give up to avoid acid reflux. I even cut out a bunch of citrus and drastically cut down on tomatoes (instead of daily.. it's more like once a week).
Despite all the bad going on we might be taking in a dog. My grandparents had a dog.. I got them this dog a little over 10 years ago when I worked at a pet store and my Aunts didn't want them to have a dog but they really really wanted one and since I knew of the perfect one for them, I showed them a picture and told them about him and they came up to my work the next day to come pick him up from me. Anyways. This dog is like the best dog ever and loves my kids (and they love him) so it will be good for my kids to have him, and I will feel safer taking walks around the neighborhood while my kids ride their bikes by having a dog to walk with (he is shepherd, sheepdog, husky mix by what the vet suggested). My family knows that I am low income so because he is the family dog now my Aunts and uncles have offered to keep him up to date on shots and fix my fence in my backyard and provide food for him until I am done with school.
